In racing news, Tony Chin recently ran the Blessing of the Fleet 10-mile race in Narragansett, Rhode Island! Last week, Jon Marcus ran the Beach to Beacon 10K in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. And Mark Zurlo ran a Race Cancer Summer Series 5k just two days before completing the Spartan Super Boston obstacle race with a PR!

If you haven't already, sign up for the Brighton Bangers 5k on Saturday, September 17th! It's the best day of the year because not only is it an awesome course that's walking distance from Oak Square, it's also a full afternoon of hanging out with your fellow Bangers and drinking, with free beer, live bands, and food trucks at the Community Rowing regatta for the rest of the day. 1) Smuttynose Rockfest - a 5k OR half marathon in Hampton Beach, NH on Sunday, October 2nd. This is only an hour from Boston (we'll carpool!) and the course is along the shore, scenic and flat. Either distance includes an after-party at the Hampton Beach Sea Shell Complex with lots of free food and beer. Pick the shorter or longer distance and come hang out on the beach with the Bangers! 2) Cambridge Half Marathon - it's the first one ever! The course starts by Kendall Square and loops around the city of Cambridge, ending with an after-party in the CambridgeSide Galleria parking garage.
