Hi Bangers!
Congratulations on yet another record-setting Wednesday - it's so great to see this many people come out for runs!! To all the new Bangers from yesterday, welcome :)
We had tons going on in terms of races this week! A bunch of Bangers traveled out to Andover, MA this past weekend for the Runner's World Classic, a two-day event which included a 5k, 10k, and half marathon. Patrick McMahon ran ALL THREE of these events! Em Grover, Mark Zurlo, and Tony Chin also ran the half marathon on Sunday, with Em setting her new half marathon PR!! Before the weekend, Patrick, Em, and Tony also all ran the RACE Cancer Summer Series 5k for July (these are held once a month on Thursdays along the river in Brighton). Tony's dog Roux made an appearance at this race too! Also this weekend, Mark Zagata ran the Blackstrap Off-Road Classic 5k, a hilly trail 5k held in Falmouth, Maine. Finally, Ryan Wexler ran the Across the Bay 12k in San Francisco, repping the Bangers on the West Coast!
