Races:
-Congrats Elyse Archila on finishing the Whaling City Triathlon in New Bedford this past weekend!
-We had a crowd of Bangers at the Finish at the 50 10k and 5k, including Jon Marcus, Mark Zurlo, Patrick McMahon, Tony Chin, Em Grover (10k), and Patricia Daley (5k). Congrats on the PR's, Jon and Patricia!!
-A couple additional PR's from the 26x1 relay last weekend include Patrick McMahon and Maggie Ginn!! Please let me know if I'm still missing anyone's :)
Upcoming Events:
-Tomorrow is Sasquatch! Good luck to everyone who's running!! Who knows...maybe we'll even be able to add to our trophy collection at the Last Drop, whether that trophy is for running or for dance moves.
*Additional Sasquatch note: The PARTY bus leaves from Oak Square at 5 PM. Please be there no later than 4:45 to load the bus! Thank you again Jen Daley for organizing this!
-Next week on Wednesday, Jonna Green is being totally awesome and planning routes from Oak Square to the Aeronaut Brewfest in Allston! See FB for route details; they will be posted in the event for next Wednesday's run too. Bring your ID and $$!
-Registration is open (and filling!!) for the Brighton Bangers 5k on Saturday, September 17th! This really is the best 5k in Boston (we think) as there's live music, food trucks, and free beer all day afterward with the Community Rowing regatta happening at the same time.
