This Week in Bangers Racing:
Kerry Phelan became Grand Prix participant #100 for 2016 after running the Yukan Triple Threat half marathon!.Patrick McMahon ran the second-to-last Race Cancer Summer Series 5k of the season last week. And last weekend, Tess Harvey and Ruby Perlmutter both finished the extremely tough TARC Fall Classic 50K in Carlisle, MA. This was Ruby's first ultramarathon!
There are Bangers running half, full, or ultra-marathons every single weekend between Labor Day and Thanksgiving, which is a pretty amazing team accomplishment!! It's also pretty awesome for everyone running individually. If you're running or cheering on other Bangers at these races, please send me some photos! I'm collecting as many as I can and they may make an appearance at the Bang-quet :)

The next race coming up (after tomorrow) is the Smuttynose Half Marathon and 5k! Both of these races are on Sunday, October 2nd in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, with flat and scenic courses and an awesome beach after-party. Both distances are available and we can carpool together! For the Cambridge Half Marathon, on November 13, I hear there's a VIP tent and free beverages at stake if we get a few more runners signed up...
